Also, for those of you who are regular customers...you might have noticed on appliqued t-shirts that there is a soft lining inside. It is called tender touch and it is there to protect your little ones skin from getting irritated when the shirt rubs against their skin. This is an iron on product and if it starts to peel off over time you can just run the iron over it (on wool setting) to reattach. A lot of times you will see this on children's pajamas or any of the appliqued clothes you see in Gymboree, Children's Place, etc. Sometime embroiderers do not use it but I think it is a nice extra touch.

Just had to post!
The great thing about making clothes for my nieces is that my sister gives me carte blanche to make almost anything I want for them. It really is my creative outlet to see if what is in my head will work once it is stitched out and sewn. I also love the extra cuteness of making twins outfits. I just had to post these shirts I did this morning because I LOVE THEM!!! I hope the girls do too. This monogram style is pretty popular these days and can be done on towels, dresses, tote bags and more. The large letter used for the last name is an applique and can be done using any fabric.
