Love, Love, Love

Happy Valentine's Day to all my customers and maybe those who want to order but just haven't quite done it yet!

In the spirit of love, I am going to post about a couple new appliques I love. These are photos taken by "testers" of these designs so remember fabrics can be changed.

  • When I saw this circle monogram I HAD TO HAVE IT. There are so many things you can do with this. Put it on a shirt, dress, bag, towel, etc. - Thank you Applique Market!

  • Also, these tennis racquets were too cute pass up. They would work on towel, clothes, bags, etc. Very versatile.

A little unfortunate news...this is where my main machine usually sits. Had to send it off to be fixed. I tried to fix it myself, even had my husband working on it - I never thought I'd see the day. Well, no luck, and now it is off to Atlanta to be repaired. So things are running a little bit slower that normal since I am operating on one embroidery machine. I am really pleased with my decision to purchase a back up machine. Hopefully it will be back in a few days and things will get back to normal.

On a more positive note, I am going to be redoing the Lucy's Closet LOGO and a few other things (well a professional is going to be doing it). So, I am very excited about the possibility of a new website (in the future) and a new look for Lucy's Closet that will make it easier for my customers to create, shop, purchase and browse my clothing and gifts. Stay tuned!

Here are a few things I've been working on:

This gumball machine would be cute on a shirt or a-line dress as well with a name underneath.

Lastly, Happy Valentine's Day to my wonderful husband, who is willing to take apart an embroidery machine with me, and my beautiful children , who inspired me to use these machines in the first place.
