End of September and Pajama Update

I can't believe it is the last week of September! This month has flown by as I have been very busy in my work and family life. An update about the pajama order: THEY SHOULD BE HERE IN THE NEXT WEEK OR TWO!!! The company I am getting these from got waaaaay more orders than they expected so it added a week to the manufacturing time. Once I get them in, I will be contacting those of you who have not told me yet what you want on them. I'll be completing them and getting them out to you all in October which means you will have them in plenty of time for December!! Here are some other things I have been working on:

My turn around time is currently 3 weeks. Since I am a staff of ONE I can't really get things done any quicker. My husband and children suffer if I take too much. Speaking of kiddos...my son just turned 7 and still wanted me to make him a shirt for his birthday. He is obsessed with Ninjago so here is what I came up with.

It was a huge hit!!!!!

I have been selling a lot of baby gowns lately and up to now they have been part of the baby set but they are really expensive so they are not going to be part of that set anymore. Baby gowns are now going to be $20 (instead of $10 like bibs, bloomers and burp cloths). They are so nice and adorable but I am losing money by not pricing them correctly. Sorry ladies:(

Back to School

School starts for us in a week and I am feeling pretty blue about that. There are definitely things I am excited for and I know my kiddos are ready but still, I love having carefree days with them without much of a schedule. We had a blast at the beach but are now back to reality! My first embroidery machine I ever owned finally died with almost 9 million stitches on it so my new machine should arrive this week. I am very excited to have a larger embroidery area but a little scared to be learning a different machine. Here are a few things I've been working on....

August Vacation

Well, I am all filled up for August! I am not taking any more backpack, lunchbox or back to school clothing orders. I am taking orders but they will not be filled until the end of August or early September. Lucy's Closet is CLOSED August 17th-27th. Here are just a few things I have been working on:

Sorry so long!

It has been a long time since I posted! Vacations and swim team and summer fun have been keeping me very busy. Lucy's Closet is operational from about 7am - 9:30 am and then the busy summer days pulls me out of the office. Here are a few thing I have been working on:

Also, I am selling Christmas pajamas this year. These would only be available for pre-order. Email lucyscloset77@gmail.com if you want to order them. I will need to know size (12m, 18m, 2T,3T,4T,5T, 6, 8, 10). These can be appliqued or monogrammed. $22 per pair (includes embroidery). These will not be available at Christmas time - LIMITED time only. Great for siblings!

School is Out!

So today is my first day working with the kids at home. I forgot how hard it is! A little work in the morning before they wake up, a little in the afternoon and a little at night. But I'm not going to be able to do that everyday so as of right now my turn around time is 3-4 weeks at least. Here are some things I have been working on over the last few weeks/month.
