Christmas Cut Off

Lucy's Closet will be closed for Thanksgiving vacation from Tuesday, Nov. 22 - Sunday, Nov. 27th. I was going to take Christmas orders until Nov. 28th but many of you have contacted me about holding spots for you so my calendar is all filled for December. I will take orders for January but will not be filling or shipping those orders until early January. Thank you to those who got your orders to my early. Also, a few customers have placed orders but have not paid invoices. Just a reminder, I will not start on your order unless you have completed payment. Thank you! Here are the latest pictures:

Time is Flying

I am not taking anymore Thanksgiving orders (I can't believe we are almost at Thanksgiving). I am taking Christmas orders but I am already filled up to the week after Thanksgiving. The holidays are difficult because orders start pouring in all at the same time and I am only able to take on so many. Once I hit the limit and I know when I hit the limit, I cut it off. I love Christmas, it is my favorite holiday and I want my family to feel the same way. I don't want my kids to think "Mom was always working at Christmas" and since they will be out of school starting in mid-December I really have to manage my time well. Lucy's Closet will be closed this year from December 19- Jan. 2. I will be emailing and taking orders but I will not be making anything during that time. If you still want something for the holidays you still have a little time to get me your order. For Christmas orders that will need to ship, my cut off is Monday, November 28th to place you order. This will give me enough time to make your order and for you to have it in time for Christmas. However, this is subject to change.

More from October

In my last post I mentioned that I was working with a lot of corduroy these days (which is my favorite fabric to work with). Here are a few examples. I know it is hard to tell in the pictures but all of the dresses shown here are corduroy.

 And as always, a few baby gifts. These are my new terry cloth bibs I am selling. They are exactly like my old terry cloth bibs, very soft, velcro -neck and 10 x 10. The girl version is piped in pink instead of blue. The solid white has been unavailable for a while and I am giving up expecting them to come in but I think the piping is precious and classic.

It has been a rough couple of weeks. I was pretty sick for about 2 weeks and then my husband was out of town. For a few days there I felt like I was just barely hanging on. Now, with the help of some medicine, I am feeling MUCH better.  So, here are a few items from October! There is lots and lots of corduroy in my office right now!!!!
