On a Personal Note

We took the kids for a photo shoot yesterday with a wonderful photographer, Jenny Hughes. She also has a blog if you want to check out more of her work. I love how artistic her photos are. I wanted pictures that really captured the personalities of my kids and I definitely think we got that from what I have seen, and I have only seen 6 of the photos!

She is moving to Seattle in September. So, get her while you can!

A few new appliques

I have a few new appliques available. I now have Greek Letters from Embroidery Boutique that I can do for the sorority girl and I love this new apple trio applique for back to school. This would be adorable with the monogram inside the apples. This applique is from Applique Momma.

Here is what I've been working on this week:

There must be a lot of babies being born right now because I am doing a huge volume of personalized burp cloths. I can barely keep burp cloths in stock. I love the set of 8 in the picture above and hope this new mother does too! A set of 2 burp cloths is $15.

Just back from Vacation...

We have just gotten back from a July 4th vacation so a blog post is coming soon... In the meantime, please plan ahead for back to school clothing and orders for August. Lucy's Closet will be closed for 1 week in August and we will probably end up have a 3 week turn around. Don't wait to the last minute to decide you need that special dress for back to school!
