I'm so happy to have the Christmas season here. I will only be taking orders until December 7th (to be completed and shipped by December 18th) and then I will be closed until January. If you have any special requests just send me an email and I will see if I can accommodate. I have been embroidering a lot of raincoats, teacher gifts and holiday pajamas lately. Summer update and Raincoats!

Well I guess I haven't followed up on my New Year's resolution of blogging more! I can't believe my last post was in January and we are now almost 6 weeks away from school being out for summer. Most of my customers know that I go to a very limited amount of orders in the summer months and over Christmas and Spring Breaks. During these times my kids are out of school and that is my #1 priority so I slow waaaay down with work. However, you also know that holiday pj preorders happen in the summer. When the time comes I will be putting info about the preorder on here as well as on the Lucy's Closet Facebook page. I am selling a ton of monogrammed raincoats lately so please email me if you would like to order one at lucyscloset77@gmail.com. They come in S, M, L and XL. Color availability depends on size needed but it comes in navy, black, red, buttercup yellow, purple, hot pink, light pink, mint, aqua, wave blue and coral. Raincoats are $55 and that includes the monogram.

So Christmas is all wrapped up and put away and the January blahs have set in, well, sort of. I really didn't want to take down the decorations this year, There is nothing better than the smell of a Fraser fir tree first thing in the morning while sipping your coffee and having nowhere to be. I hope all my customers have been having a great start to 2015. This year I am going to be changing a few things. I want to focus more on personal items that my customers bring to me (so drop off those towel to be personalized!). Also, I am going to be trying to offer more items for my moms out there and the older children. New items are going to be announced at the end of January but there are going to be some new koozies, canvas cosmetic bags and wristlets and crossbody bags. One big change is that I am not (at least for now) going to be sewing custom girls dresses and boys longalls and jon jons. They are simply too time consuming for very little profit. However, I will still offer dresses and longalls but they will come in set colors and materials (solid corduroy, gingham, and seersucker prints). I will do all the custom embroidery & personalization on them. Email me with any questions!
