Proud Momma!

First, on a personal note, I want to congratulate my daughter Lucy on her Student of the Year Award!!!! This award was given to 2 kids at her school, Lucy (2nd grade) and a fifth grader. Considering that there are 1,000 amazing kids who go to her school we were very surprised and extremely proud! Lucy has the gift of happiness, a smile that lights up the room and amazing positivity. She brings so much joy to our family and is such a blessing, I guess her teachers feel the same way. Way to go Lucy Goosey!

Flower girl dresses

 So this past weekend was my cousin's wedding  in North Carolina. Her color scheme was yellow and green and everything about her wedding was environmentally friendly - very appropriate for Earth Day weekend. She also incorporated burlap into quite a few things so it was a perfect fit to make flower girl dresses for her out of natural linen. She had pinned a dress to pinterest and that was the jumping off point. We settled on a pillowcase style dress made of linen and damask with a large satin bow on one shoulder.  I think my neices looked adorable and I think my cousin was very happy with how it turned out. Best wishes to Tracy and Chris - I am not posting any more details to give them their privacy but I hope they are having a wonderful honeymoon!!!!

Due to increasing cotton prices, shipping and gas prices, the cost of the Bib and Burp Cloth Sets will increase to $20 as of May 1st. They are currently $15. Sorry folks - just have to adjust with changing times. There is a lot of time, craftsmanship and love that goes into making each personalized gift. I also use premium quality burp cloths and would like to be able to continue to do so. Thanks for your understanding!!!
