When life gives you lemons....
We are making some serious lemonade in our house! After a pipe burst yesterday, at about the same time I was supposed to be getting my children off the school bus, we are now ripping out and replacing ceilings, floors, cabinets and more! In looking on the bright side, Lucy's Closet has in no way been affected, well almost. If you want to place an order, please contact me about turn around time at lucyscloset77@gmail.com. As of right now it will be at least 3 weeks but this could change day by day since there are a lot of appointments with our contractor and workmen.
Here are some of the things I have been working on lately. New dresses are in the works so keep checking back! Below are 2 fabrics. I have 1 yard of the first fabric - it was too great to pass up. If anyone in interested in it, email me. It would look great with a red applique letter or maybe a white monogram.

Fall Appliques and Clothes
Here are a few fall appliques that I offer. I do have many more, this is just a few. These designs were digitized by the companies listed on the left side of my blog (Lynnie Pinnie, Embroidery Boutique, Applique Cafe, Applique Frenzy, Applique Momma, etc). The fabrics used in some of these samples may not be available. I can use any fabrics to make these appliques in "Lucy's Closet" style! I can put them on A-line dresses (corduroy is great for fall), T-shirts and playdresses (seen below - chocolate and black are great for Halloween).

I will have another post this week with a lot of pictures of what I have been doing over the last couple weeks. It has been very busy with the start of school and my little boy turning 5. I am hoping to be able to cut down my turn around time of 3 weeks as soon as I can get caught up! Please plan ahead for holidays ~ I am almost at the cut off for Halloween for those items that need to be shipped. If you are local, I will take Halloween shirts until Sept. 22nd. I love the idea of using appliques like squirrels, footballs, acorns, and pumpkins because they are great for the whole fall season.
