New Appliques!

I purchased a few more designs this week that I can't wait to use (hot air balloon, rocket ship, and more)! These designs could go on dresses, jon jons, shirts, tote bags, or towels.

The appliques above are designs digitized by Planet Applique. They have a lot of adorable appliques.

These appliques are designs from Lynnie Pinnie. Keep in mind, these are examples of what they would look like. I can change the fabrics around to look completely different. For example, the inside of the rocket ship could be a royal blue gingham or the hot air balloon could have a more boyish fabric for the inside of it. Also, fabrics do change from year to year so sometimes I am forced to make changes when fabrics are not available anymore.
Here is what I've been doing this week.

This bath/beach towel, bib and burp cloth set make a great gift ($35).

Someone brought me these bags (I think she said they were $3 at Walmart) and I added the name and monogram for her daughters. What a deal!

These dresses above are a hot pink corduroy but they can also be done in cotton.

I know I have posted both of these dresses before but I wanted to post them again with these coordinating bloomers. I have been making a lot of both of these lately, the blue seersucker would be perfect for July 4th.

I have also been working on a bunch of appliqued shirt this week but I will have to add them in my next post because I am not quite done. Have a great weekend everyone!

Where did the last week go?

I just realized I haven't posted since last Wednesday so I guess I need to get a post out there. This week I have been making bib/burp cloth sets, jon jons, appliqued shirts and dresses. Here are a few of them.

This dress is a hot pink kona cotton. This is my KK Monogram font which is not listed in my fonts yet. I have a few new fonts so hopefully I can get them added to the font album soon.

These dog and crab shirts turned out great too. Names can be added under the appliques. Appliqued shirts are $15 and if you add a name they are $20. I have some of my favorite appliques sites listed on the left of my blog so you can see where I get my appliques from. These are digital files that I purchase from the digitizers and then I create the applique. All fabrics can be changed and may have to be changed since fabrics are discontinued or unavailable from time to time.

Finally the jon jon. Very nautical and classic looking! Hope this mom loves her birthday boy's outfit!

I would also like to mention a wonderful etsy store. I have found a great shop on etsy called The Paper Kingdom that has been doing my hang tags and my stickers for my packaging.

They have done a wonderful job! You can see a picture of the scalloped hang tag attached to the jon jon.

I have been so pleased with their work and would like to acknowledge them for also having wonderful customer service. You can also purchase recipe cards, business cards, address labels, etc. Etsy has great stores where you find amazing things made by artisans who take a lot of pride in their work.

Totes and Towels!

I know I have posted some of these totes before but I like to post some things again to remind people of the variety of things I make. These tote bags come in a wide range of colors and almost any applique can be on the tote bag. The totes are $20.

I love this duffle. I think it came out great. The bows are detachable and just snap right off which might be great for an older child or an adult. Duffle bags are $40.

I also did my Sailboat quilted bib and monogrammed burp cloth this week. This is one of my most popular bib sets, I think that is because it has a "classic" look.

And this is a new bib (terry) and burp cloth set, The Baby Boy preppy dots. The monogram is chocolate brown. Bib/Burp Cloth Sets are $15.

I also did these 2 beach towels this week. I really like how they turned out. Once again, I can do almost any applique and I can change the fabrics around to compliment the color of the towel. These towels come in orange, aqua, hot pink and lime green. Please contact me for availability. The font on the pink towel is one of my new fonts, it is called my "Sally" font and on the aqua towel it is my "Kristen" font. Towels are $20 each. These are very practical and make great gifts. Kids can use them for the pool and camps, which will be starting up very soon!

This dress is great for summer, very nautical. It is a navy blue seersucker with a red applique letter outlined in a vintage stitch. It has been a very popular seller lately. Perfect for July 4th!

And this week I embroidered and appliqued a lot of t-shirts that a customer brought to me. Most of these shirts are the Garanimals brand. If you bring me your own shirts to do (instead of purchasing mine) I charge $5 for a name/monogram and $10 for an applique.

I'm BACK !

I am back from our family vacation in Hilton Head, SC. What a beautiful place! Thanks to my brother-in-law for all you did for us and to my in-laws for making the trip possible. I am back to work today and have a full calendar to catch up on so I am keeping this post short. Here are a few pictures of the clothes I did for my kids before we left as well as my twin nieces in their Easter dresses. The boots are such a great addition!

VACATION!!!

Okay, I am going to squeeze in this last post before vacation. I am so excited to spend a full week with my kids without feeling like I need to be doing something, like clean my house or work. After 1 week I will be itching to get back to work and missing it a lot! Here is a sample of the things I have been doing this week. I am trying only to upload things I have not put on here before. I will be checking my emails so if you have a questions, please email me but give me a little time to get back to you. All orders that had ship dates prior to April 2nd have gone out.

This is the sleeveless version of the playdress ($28) shown with my new font, the KK Monogram.

I think these bloomers are adorable. They are a little different because the last name initial is in lime. A customer requested this and I love how they turned out.

I also did a few shirts this week, including a few for my daughter. I showed the caterpillar in pink & lime a few posts back on a dress but I decided to do it in greens and yellows because I had one of these mustard color shirts in my inventory. That is the great thing about appliques, you can always change the fabrics and make something completely different. The flip flop shirt will be great for the summer and I found these shorts at Kohl's that are a great match. I have had the firetruck design for a long time but this is the first time I have used it and I love it! It is a pretty complicated applique but I bet this little boy is going to like it. I also like the name above the truck.

These were teacher gifts someone had me embroider. She brought me the towels but I think they are from the store Tuesday Morning.

Happy Spring Break everyone!
